Calcium Carbonate 500 mg, Calcitriol 0.25 mcg & Zinc Capsules

CALSTIK- CT combination drug is used in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets to prevent or treat low levels of calcium in the blood. It can be used to treat circumstances caused by low levels of calcium such as bone loss (osteoporosis), reduced parathyroid gland activity (hypoparathyroidism), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), and some muscle disease (latent tetany).

It may also be used in some patients to guarantee that they get sufficient calcium (e.g., nursing, pregnant women, or postmenopausal women, people taking certain capsules such as phenytoin, phenobarbital, or prednisone).
