ADMOL-AT tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) with or without other medicines. Reducing high blood pressure helps prevent heart attacks, strokes, and problems with the kidneys. This drug is also used after a heart attack to treat chest pain (angina) and improve survival.

ADMOL-AT (Atenolol) belongs to a drug class called beta blockers. It works by blocking the action on the heart and blood vessels of certain natural chemicals in your body, like epinephrine. This effect reduces blood pressure, heart rate, and heart burden.
